    Hello,

I was wandering, is a bio-market a part off ‘Food assemblies’ when they sell products from other countries and not everything is zero-waste?

    Greetings

Hi Cindy, a “food assembly” is a special concept where regional organic producers/farmers connect with consumers directly without supermarkets and others. Their main page explains the concept:

We also thought about integrating pure bio-markets into the map, in order to encourage consumption of regional/biological grown food. On the other hand side that’s not neccessarily a zero-waste concept. But as soon as they actively promote zero-waste either fully or partly, they can be categorized as “package free shop” or “package free department”. Did that answer your question?
